Site-Work, Land Clearing, Demolition, Excavation

The first step in developing your landscape is to address any existing drainage issues and make changes to your grade based on the scope of work and what elements you would like to add or remove from your landscape.

This may include removing shrubs, excavating tree stumps, removing unwanted vegetation, or demolishing a structure such as a shed or deck.

Stormwater Management Design &
Drainage System Installation

For the majority of landscape development projects, we recommend having a drainage system installed.

This is usually an insurance policy to ensure your landscape remains flawless even in the heaviest of rainstorms

Do you often experience wash out of your soil, mulch or other materials in your landscape after a heavy rainstorm?

Is water ending up in areas where it is not supposed to such as a basement or garage?

Rest assured,

our Landscape Artisans have the expertise to calulate and design a storm water management system that will work for your specific property and landscape

Our Landscape Artisans install walkways, patios, retaining walls, staircases, granite mailboxes, driveways, natural stone firepits and more.

Lawn Renovation & Grading

Do you have an abundance of weeds/unwanted plants, moss, or bare spots on your lawn? Are there low spots or areas where you see water puddle after a rainstorm?

Generally speaking a healthy lawn needs about 4-6 inches of screened loam/topsoil as a foundation or planting bed to grow and thrive in.

Typically when your lawn is less than 50% healthy grass with proper grades, we recommend having a new lawn installed with our Premium Lawn Renovation.

However, maybe your lawn just needs a little help and could benefit from either our Basic or Effective Lawn Renovation services.

Our Basic Lawn Renovation includes
De-thatching and Aerating with an application of Over Seeding, and Starter Fertilizer over your lawn.

Our Effective Lawn Renovation includes all aspects of a Basic Lawn Renovation with the additional soil amendment of topdressing your lawn with 1/4 to 1/2 inch of organic compost.

Edging with Steel & Stone

Edging creates a bold and functional delineation between your landscape materials. Whether you are trying to keep your grass from growing into your garden beds or your mulch from mixing in with your decorative stone, edging is a great solution.

A popular edging our

Landscape Artisans install is the granite grey cobblestone like you see in the photo here. We can use a variety of materials from pavers to brick or another popular choice is our steel edging which comes in a variety of different colors for you to choose from.

Playground

Playground & Shed Bases

playground base

For Playground Bases we usually use rubber materials such as the border and rubber mulch you see in the photo here. This allows your kids to have a safe landing at play and allow for ease of maintenance if say there was previously a lawn growing underneath your playground base.

For Shed Bases we typically excavate/dig down to install a crusher run base that then gets compacted to ensure it will not shift over time.
Then we usually install a decorative stone with edging to give it a finished look surrounding your shed.

Plantings

Our Landscape Artisans install ornamental shrubs, trees, perenial and annual flowers and more.

Most plantings will require a
2D- Landscape Design
at minimum to install.

(Check out our design services by using the underlined link above this)

Plantings are a great way to add a colorful, living and breathing element to your landscape.

Usually one of the last steps in developing your landscape as a finishing touch with mulch.
